Pullover Shawl-Collar Sweater Sewing Pattern

Your stretch on this does matter however I have used knits that have less stretch the recommended. This is a 5 star pattern all the way around. I skip the button and loop or I sew the loop into the collar when constructing would recommend they adjust their pattern and instructions to do it that way gives a much cleaner finish.

I made this for my Son in law in a heavy sweater knit and it is beautiful. A great pattern and very helpful sew along as well.

The pattern was precisely true to size and with the guidance, (pictorials that come with the pdf files and the tutorial on YouTube) this one was another very easy to make amazing top!
I'd like emphasise that despite the fact that I am just an adventurous beginner sewist, managed to adjust the sleeve length with no problems whatsoever👍and despite my fear that I might not be able to assemble the collar it came out fabulous. I used fleece material with not much stretch, yet it still looks and fits great. My better half loves it and wants more, he even requested to add pockets next time 😉

Nice easy to make pattern. The sleeves were too short for my husband but I'll adjust that for the future (he asked for more)

I made 2 and although I would have loved the collar on a curvy fit it is the collar that I was looking for. I don't like hoodies and some colws are just too big. The shawl collar is just so elegant. Please add it as an options for all your patterns with hoodies/cowls.

This is by far my favorite thing I've made for my husband...and his too! As always, the instructions were clear and the sweater came together nicely! I love this pattern!

I thought this top needed a forward shoulder adjustment just by looking at how it fit On all the testers garments, so that was an easy fix. The first one I made (cream French terry) turned out well, but I didn’t care for having 2 seams on the collar, I wanted seamless. On the second garment, I joined the two collar pieces at their seam lines, then slashed and spread in two places evenly across the back to allow the collar to roll nicely and added an inch of height. One collar piece and I love it now! E and M patterns for men fit really great across the shoulders BTW!

Made the shawl collar sweater for my husband in grey fleece lined knit with some stretch. Easy pattern to construct true to size, this is not a relaxed fit would recommend sizing up for a little more room if layering up.

I haven't made this yet, but know my hubby will look amazing when I do!!

I sewed two of these for a fun embroidery project/gift for someone. I didn’t have measurements, just “medium” as a size guide. I decided to just go with it and so up a straight medium (I did actually add some length to the arms to be on the safe side since they are tall). Everything sewed up quickly, looked great and..they fit! 🙌

I made this as a birthday gift and we both love the result! It was easy to make and the fit is really good (I only had to take a bit out of the lenght): reciever is quite slim with wider shoulders. I'll def be making more of this. I also appriciate the easy to assemble printout patterns.

Easy to sew up & looks great on but comes up a bit small & the arms are short

I made this for my husband and it looks great on him. Easy to make and a great casual addition to any wardrobe

So happy with the way way the sweater turned out. Easy to make up with clear instructions. I made it with brushed waffle knit and was perfect.

I bought this pattern for my hubby, I’ve ended up making it for my eldest son. The way it come all together it’s very easy, instructions are clear to follow, and the pictures are very helpful. Look forward to make more of it.
