My granddaughter and her best friend learns several new sewing techniques with this pattern. Since it’s all rectangles, I measured the pieces first, and then they cut by measurements using a rotary cutter and cutting ruler. They learned to zigzag seam allowances, to topstitch, to measure elastic, and how to gather.
