I'm loving this pattern! I've been making heaps of socks out of a beautiful merino/possum/silk fabric that I got for free as offcuts from a clothing shop. I added an inch of length to the band as it was a bit tight, otherwise great and easy to sew- can do a pair in 20 min!
I love these socks! After trying the pattern, my daughters and granddaughters are putting in their requests! They are fun and easy to make and a great stash buster!
So I was looking for something to cover my son’s cast when he broke my foot. I modified this (just to be slightly bigger) and it was perfect! Easy to make and fit well.

Very easy to understand pattern, and turned out great! Very fast sew - I made three pairs out of fine merino wool to wear under thick socks and they are fantastic!!!
