I love kids sweetie pie pattern. So easy and quick but it’s so cute. I made three of them on the first day.
My granddaughter picked out some extremely cute lycra fabric. When my son gave it to me I panicked at the thought of sewing this slippery, slidey, stretchy material and looked for something simple to make and would work well with stretch fabric. This pattern is it. The sizing and alteration information was excellent and allowed me to adjust the pattern to fit. The pattern is indeed simple in design and simple to construct. With a serger, my lycra project turned out great. The dress flows around her body. A pair of leggings completed the outfit for a delighted little girl.
This is truly a very twirly dress . I am a complete beginner to sewing and found this easy to make . Only problem I had was the neck line but that was my bad technique . Will definitely make again .
