Welcome to Ellie and Mac,
a little corner of the internet born from a mama's love and a desire for something special. Like many of you, it all started when my little one, Aubrey, inspired a dream. I longed for those adorable, frilly boutique outfits, the kind that make your heart melt, but as a young, stay-at-home-mom, the price tags? Oof! So, I picked up a needle and thread, determined to create that magic myself.
What began as a way to dress my daughter in sweetness blossomed into a true passion for sewing and design. Soon, I was creating custom pieces, and the joy of seeing little ones light up in something made just for them was simply contagious. It sparked an idea: what if I could share that joy, that ability to create something beautiful, with everyone? That's how the idea for Ellie and Mac's sewing patterns took root – a way for anyone to bring those special designs to life, no matter their budget.
Now, over a decade later, we've grown into a treasure trove of hundreds of patterns, ready for you to create beautiful handmade pieces for the babies, kids, grown-ups in your life, and yourself, of course.
