Made this as a birthday gift for an "always cold" friend. Super pleased with the should seams that keep the cape where it needs to be. I used snaps instead of buttons to make it reversible. Photos of my friend wearing her new cape 😁

Great pattern! Easy to sew. I made this without the hood for an Anna cape. (Frozen) It was perfect. I also didn’t add the buttons and used a heart clasp, and rounded the front corners. It sewed up wonderfully. I can’t wait to make more. I loved the pattern so much I plan to make rain ponchos next. I also have some sheer snowflake material for an Elsa cape.
My daughter wanted a cape made from heavy fleece. Finding the fleece was interesting, a super heavy one wasn't hard to find. She wanted hers without any fasteners and without a gap in front, so after I turned it right-side out, I sewed the flaps shut. She is very happy and wears it every day inside the house to be cozy. I cut the largest size and used a slightly larger seam allowance because the fleece was so heavy, but I still used a double-layer of it because she wanted it heavy. It worked out great and was a quick sew. Thank you.
