This Be Smart Jumper sewing pattern is so fun! It features two versions for you to create the look you are going for. The high waist version sits higher on the middle waist just under the bust area with a longer skirt. The low waist version sits low on the hips with a vintage length skirt that is above the knees. This skirt would be perfect for summer wear and also with tights and a long sleeve top in the winter! Definitely a must have!

I grabbed this pattern originally for a cosplay and ended up making it without straps and the resulting skirt has become a firm favourite with my eldest. Super quick sew especially if you have a serger and twirls beautifully even with a heavy ribbed knit like ours!!

Such an easy and quick sew! I made two in one day.... probably doesnt sound like much, but with a very busy toddler.... I get to sew during nap time or in the evening when my husband gets home. So most projects take a day or two. And this jumper is adorable! Even if she's mad that I had her try it on! Hahaha!

Very good pattern and easy instructions however I do not understand the 2 2/3 to place the backing not even sure how to turn that into measurements but otherwise really good and turned out well

Made this for my youngest granddaughter. I used Velcro on the front strap since I wasn’t sure how the straps would fit on her. Good thing I did because they barely fit (couldn’t cross them in the back). I think she has a long torso. She was very cute though.
